Join the Club
For most of its history the Club has provided a comfortable London home for Officers of the Royal Navy, the Royal Marines, the Army and the Royal Air Force. Blended with an eclectic mix of Civilian life makes for an interesting atmosphere where like minded people come together. The Club welcomes both men and women from a wide range of backgrounds.
In recent years, the membership has expanded to include ladies and gentlemen who have not served in the Armed Forces and the Club has benefited greatly from this. The Club exists as a society of men and women who respect service traditions and who share the facilities of the Clubhouse at No. 4 St. James's Square for their enjoyment and recreation amongst like minded people.
Normal Club procedures will require you to have a Proposer and Seconder, the Proposer being a Member of two years standing. However, in exceptional circumstances, the Membership Committee may consider a potential Member without sponsors following an interview with two senior members. In this instance, a suitable covering letter would need to accompany an application form. Serving Officers in the British Armed Forces are not required to provide a Proposer nor a Seconder, but will be asked to provide evidence of current service.
With regard to subscriptions, these are confirmed on receipt of the application form.
