Cpt James Steel Under 35 Members Representative

At the Board Meeting on the 22nd November 2023 the board, following a selection process, Co-opted Captain James Steel to serve as the representative for members under the age of 35. James, a serving officer in the Royal Artillery, has been a member of the club for 8 years, joining when he commissioned in 2015. General Sir Peter Wall, club chairman, welcomed James to the board during the meeting. The purpose of James’ role is to represent the view of the under 35 Membership to the Board, a role in which he is greatly looking forward to supporting and working with the younger members of our London home. James said “I am grateful for the opportunity to serve our London home and look forward to representing the younger members as I work with the board and the staff of the club. I am delighted to be joining the board at what is such a positive time for our club. Already, there are some ideas I am working on for the younger member cohort which I hope will bear fruit in 2024.”
